D3D Cinema and SOMNIACS are pleased to welcome the newest institutions to the growing North American Birdly® family. Science Mill in Johnson City, Texas and The Wild Center in Tupper Lake, New York will launch location-based Birdly experiences in February and May respectively.
“We are very excited to be able to bring Birdly to our science museum. The experience of this ride is thrilling and we believe a catalyst to engage kids in the excitement and wonder of STEM,” said Bonnie Baskin, CEO and President of Science Mill.
Science Mill and The Wild Center join an expanding network of museums and science centers across North America and the world, venues of all sizes including the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, the Cincinnati Museum Center, The Tech Interactive in San Jose, The Field Museum in Chicago, the Houston Museum of Natural Science, the TELUS World of Science in Vancouver, and more.
Hillarie Logan-Dechene, Deputy Director of The Wild Center adds, “We’re incredibly excited to partner with Birdly to give Wild Center visitors the sensation of soaring through the air like a red-tailed hawk in the Adirondacks. We believe the multisensory experience of Birdly perfectly intersects with our mission of providing a one-of-a-kind, hands-on experience that connects visitors with nature.”
“We are so happy to welcome these two new family focused museums into the Birdly family” said Mark Katz, SVP at D3D Cinema. “As the network expands, the number of experiences coming to the platform accelerates. In addition to new Birdly sites, we have some really exciting content launch announcements around the corner.”
